Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cream Mixture
- In a bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped heavy cream gently to maintain the light texture. Add a splash of vanilla extract or coffee liqueur if desired.
Step 2: Soak the Ladyfingers
- Pour the cooled espresso or coffee into a shallow dish.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee for 1–2 seconds, ensuring they absorb the liquid but don’t become soggy.
Step 3: Assemble the Tiramisu
- Layer coffee-soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of your serving glasses or bowls.
- Spoon a layer of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat the process to create two or three layers, ending with a layer of cream.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve
- Dust the top with cocoa powder using a fine mesh sieve.
- Add chocolate shavings or a sprinkle of espresso powder for extra flair.
